I searched in google "the six categories of media." For the role in technology I listened and wrote what the instructor told us.

I learnt the different types of media that can be used for education, as well as the benefits of technology in learning. In addition, there are different programs which can be used to plan and present lessons. All this new information benefited me as I am now aware of the many different types of media and programs.

Results

I will use the different types of technology to create a better understanding and variety of displayed information in lessons.

Research different types of concepts related to learning

• Find out three main types of learners
• Find out three types of learning theories

New Discoveries & Benefits

I refreshed my memory of the fact that people learn differently. The main ways are auditory, visual and kinesthetic. Also I discovered that there are different theories to explain how people learn. I benefited from this by now being able to distinguish types of learners.

Results

I will try to plan lessons that use media to include different types of learners, in order to meet their different understanding. Also I will take into consideration the different ways students might learn according to the theories of learning.
